We must pick up the pieces
Of life's many challenges
Things that went wrong
Or people who let us down
Bending over often
Gathering debris thrown on our ground.
Reasoning away the little hurts
Dealing with the big ones
Forgiving often.
Then assembling all the parts
Into one solid, strong, loving self.
