Happy Halloween! by Diane Hein

The witches are gathering their brooms
The ghosts are starting to fly
The skeletons are beginning to rise
                The pumpkins are being carved
The costumes are all picked out.
In 24 hours the moon will rise
                The dogs will howl
                And Halloween will be here!

                Haiku by Diane Hein

                    A haunted window
