The Red, White and Blue Forever photo is my pride and joy still life.
All the flowers in the photo are 100% real!
I worked on this photo for months, finding the right red, white
and blue vase,
many an hour in stores) and then waiting for my dark blue flowers
in my garden to bloom and then practicing first with silk flowers.
The real roses, one red and one white, I bought from a floral department.
I took
the roses apart, petal by petal and then hot glued them back
together,
added the blue flowers to represent the flag's stars and blue color,
and then
photographed them all together.

fought from visions of a few.

Tulip! 
Tulip's Morning Greeting! Play
Time!
My Hellograms were inspired by my adorable, yellow nape parrot, Tulip, who greets me with her "Hello's" usually in the morning when it's time for breakfast! Of course she can be bribed with a peanut too! On the front of each Hellogram is a 5 by 7 inch photograph that I have taken. On the back there is a short 7 to 8 line poem plus a "Thought for the Day" and a "Smile for the Day."
As you see above, in my Hellograms I have combined my poetry with my photography into a postcard which is designed to brighten up someone's day the way Tulip does when she says "Hello!" to me. In today's world when people do not call or write as often as years ago, a Hellogram or Hellocard as described above is a delightful and easy way to let someone know you are thinking about them. I know how satisfying it is to receive something in my mailbox from a friend or relative!
Please note that EACH separate Hellogram has a different
photo, but MATCHING different poetry and a different Thought for the Day
